About Me!

Hello! I’m Wyatt, and I’m excited to transition from a career as a delivery driver into the dynamic field of IT. My journey into technology started with a deep-seated curiosity about how computers and the internet work, a passion that has been continually fueled by my uncle, a pen tester based in Seattle.

While my professional background is rooted in customer service, I’ve always been drawn to the technical side of things. Over the years, I’ve built and coded websites, and more recently, I’ve been working on a personal project setting up a virtual ticketing system using Linode. This hands-on experience has been invaluable in honing my skills in IT support and systems management.

Currently, I’m studying for my CompTIA A+ certification, which I expect to complete by September 2024. This certification will solidify my knowledge and open doors to new opportunities in the IT field. In my home lab, I’m exploring security practices and using Docker to better understand containerization and its applications in modern IT environments.

One of my core beliefs is that serving the customer is the engine of any business. My extensive experience in various industries has taught me the importance of building strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction. My greatest strengths lie in my ability to listen, make people feel heard and understood, and my relentless drive to find solutions to any problem.

I also enjoy automating tasks with Python, creating small projects that streamline processes and improve efficiency. This hobby not only keeps my coding skills sharp but also fuels my passion for continuous learning and innovation.

What sets me apart from other candidates is my commitment to going above and beyond to solve problems. I am dedicated to learning and growing in this field, and I am confident that my unique blend of customer service experience and technical skills will make me a valuable asset to any IT team.

Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to the opportunity to contribute to your organization and to continue growing as an IT professional.
